Since about week 32 last year (in August 2021), the new Fritidsenheten (Recreation Unit) in the Culture Department was established. A focus on recreation for children, young people and minorities are the core tasks of the new unit. It is easy to understand that the unit is the home of e.g. teamfritid. But who's going to run the roost? It could not have been anyone other than Katrine Daviknes!

Yes, the title of the article is known from the TV series "How I Met Your Mother", but we think it fits well. This is because those who use the activities of Fritidsenheten may not meet her, but everyone who works in the Fritidsenheten knows her well! No memes about bad bosses can be found with us, because quotes about good leaders sound so right in this case. We are lucky to have her in the leadership role!

What is your dream job and why? Unit manager of the Fritidsenheten of course ... or run my own boarding house in Western Norway, a place where we would grow and prepare all the food ourselves….

What was the last gift you bought and gave to someone? A rainbow squisihy to my daughter .. She was very happy, I do not quite understand what it is and what it can be used for.
What is the strangest, happiest or most embarrassing thing you have done?
Moving to Skien, nope ... But we felt quite happy when we moved here 6 years ago, and it has gone very well then!
